The Edit menu lets you do minimal editing of sound clips: either inserting a blank or erasing. If you have to fill up a gap, record does it automatically for you by finding the lowest gap and saving the sound click under the missing name.

I typically find myself generating one side (either native or foreign), loading the project into gwavmerger and then processing the other side. Periodically, I hit the Reload button to check if I have missed any sentences or not.
